Now that we all know that you are a classic overachiever, go pour your self a cup of warm milk and try to relax...This too shall pass...lol!

Congratulations. Take some time and choose the right project to be next.

Congrats!! I would love to be in your situation. I have been working on it. Time for you to start a new project.

I believe that condition is serious. Please call quilting friends to do an immediate intervention. A shop hop would do to help cure your ills. (I am envious and wish I could catch your disease! ) :D

Do you accept mail orders? LOL Congrats!!!

I seriously doubt that I would ever have that problem in my lifetime, as I always have lots of UFO's. That said, what about making some placemats, pillowcases, or other small items for Christmas gifts, entirely up to you.

You are Soooooo lucky to have found more projects to jump right into! I live in terror that I will get all mine finished (fat chance now, but did it a few years ago). When I got all my UFOs done, I thought YEA -- then, what do I do now? There are too many choices. It took me months to get back into harness. I'll never do that again. Congratulations, keep at least a few in reserve.

That is spool very pretty. Thanks for showing it.

Whew! I feel so much better now. After going through 200 or more free patterns on my computer, I found one there and started cutting. I'm starting Garden Gate Plaids, here's the download page. Click on the tab that says 'download' to find the download button.
And while I was going through my stash I found a kit I completely forgot I had. It's been covered up for 2 years. It's a wallhanging called It takes a Village. |

I feel NORMAL now, whew! I'm definitely back to normal. I have 3 quilts started, and by that I mean all the fabric is either on order/being shipped or it's washed, dried and I iron it tomorrow.
And now for the Pièce de résistance. I've had the panel stored away in my stash for a couple years now. Everyone's great encouragement during the last few days has spurred me on to start something that has intimidated the heck out of me! You ladies are simply wonderful! This is a pattern called Meadow Stars, from Quilt Woman.com. It uses a collection called Stonehenge by Northcott. I bought the blue/brown panel when it hit the shops, couldn't get out of the store without it! But Northcott didn't put a kit together for the blue/brown colorway, so I had to put one together on my own. I made this photo using their orange/green colorway picture, and I used PaintShopPro to make my own photo, mainly so I could find fabric that would work. It took me 2 DAYS of hunting to find all the fabrics that would match.... I found all the stonehenge fabrics to make this quilt, and they are being shipped in the next few days. here's the photo I made: You can click on the link above to see what the original looks like, in the orange/green colorway. I like the blue/brown one better. Thank you everyone!! I love the quiltingboard! |
I am glad you are back on track and feel normal again!!!
