Good advice. Go to school supply stores now while everyone is thinking back to school. I have a whole range of sizes of letters.

Friend of mine has tremors also. She prints her stencils off computer and also gets cardboard stencils from office supply stores. She tapes them a little to freezer paper then traces around. She re uses the freezer paper couple times.

I bought a book called Word Play Quilts from here ahttp://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/book-pre-orders.html
It's for pieced letters not regular alpha letters. Haven't used any of the patterns yet but I'm going to soon and they look so darned cute on quilts.

I use cut out letters I bought at the Dollar tree...1 bucks for 4 inch letters....and they are re-useable...find them in school/teachers supplies

Check your local library in the quilting, embroidery or cross stitch books. I have seen alphabets in all those books.

I have used/printed letters from my Word program on my computer. Print the ones off that you want, trace them from the back side onto your fusible adhesive. Cut them out, iron them on, and stitch around them.
Good luck, susan

Google it. Put it alphabet coloring pages. I use coloring pages all the time for simple applique designs.

I can recommend the Fiskar alphabet stencil for their little cutter. It's a set of 2, not very expensive, hard plastic, and a nice size.
