WOW! Not in this lifetime.
I love tiny, tiny blocks. I WILL make one some day. Eddie, on this board, posted a picture of an old quilt made with what looked like 1/2" hexagons, unbelievable! I keep looking at that quilt, wanting to make it! I'm right there with you...nutty as a fruitcake!!

peyton--welcome to the world of a"corn"y people. One inch strips and squares are some of my favorite pieces to sew. I have made many tiny pieced quilts. The smallest I have tried w/o PP is 1/8" strips (finished) in a log cabin block. 3/4" are fun too! LQS owner asked if I have ever made a big quilt. LOL as she's got one to MQ!!
Anyway welcome to this nutty world! PS my avatar quilt is made up of 1/2" finished HST. |
Yea I think your just a little nuts. Spelt backwards almost spells stun= stunning.
It is going to be absolutely gorgeous...nuts...no, howz about mildly eccentric!
I would love to see the block you have started. I work in miniatures and this is a great looking quilt! I don't have the patience for something so big tho! LOL
At our recent guild quilt show, a quilt made from this pattern won Viewer's Choice, and had lots of "Oh, my gosh" reactions to it. I think you will love yours, too.
you are not the only nutter. I am working on the Omigosh. started April 1, LOL. no fooling. I just finished all of the double 9 patches on Sat. Now working on the 4 patches for the Shoo fly blocks. all my friends think I am crazy, except 1 lady that gave me the idea to do this. She has her top pieced and is doing an applique border, not me.
I would be nuts if I tried anything that small, I have very little patience. I admire people that can do it. Be sure and let us see it when you finish.
