For some reason I always take off my driving foot shoe when I sew, just have to have that extra control that my foot feels the pedal. I sure look funny walking around with one shoe on and one shoe off when I go to our quilting group, so I opted for slip-on /easy-off shoes for those nights. it gets mighty cold here. At home I wear slippers and still take the one off before sewing.

Barefooted here also. I have a heater on the floor that warms my feet and me. I have a sewing studion in the double gargage that has no heat and even California gets down right cold at times.

I have to wear shoes pretty much all the time because of my back problems so I sew with shoes on.

Barefoot year round.

I hate shoes so I am nearly always barefoot on the house Winter and summer. For some reason the only time I feel like my feet are cold is when I get in bed. I don't sew with shoes on either because I feel like I can't control the foot pedal as well. My friend laughs at me when we take classes since I have my shoes off there too. I do leave my socks on at classes but not at home. The only problem I see with barefoot sewing is the occasional pin or needle that I find on the floor the hard way.

Shoes or flip flops for me....never really thought of it before now lol....

barefoot is how I sew at my machine.

I have never tried going barefoot. I never wear shoes to sew. I always wear slippers. I have pins in my carpet in my sewing room. Try to pick them up, but always miss a few! I use to drive barefoot when I was young! Not very smart!

I have to wear compression stockings, but they're sort of like pantyhose so I'm nearly barefoot in Florida!!
|
shoes, what are those? I do everything in the house barefoot. I only use shoes for going outside the house and if I'm going to visit a friend, the shoes come off once I get there. "Shoes, we don't need no stinkin shoe" (misquote form a movie)...LOL
