I LOVE your 'name'; my heart started to pitter-patter when I saw it. This was the nickname I gave my son 39 years ago and he was Tadpole (even at school) until he was 6 or 7. After that, he became Tad and I still call him that. But every time I see the name Tadpole, I think of my darling son.

use whichever side you like-just rmember if you use the wrong side to consistantly use it that way!:) i once used tone on tone as a background for a scrap quilt that was applique and when i got it all done and was ready to put it on the frame i realized one of the blocks was on the wrong side! oh,well-as my mother would say-you're the only one who knows there's a mistake.i have shown that quilt a qillion times and no one has ever seen the mistake in it.
by the way, many quilter's choose to put a mistake in their quilts.the reasoning is that only god makes things that are perfect....;) just an old quilter..... |
I don't have to purposly put a mistake in my quilts. I have plenty of them there without trying.

people do that all the time. It's whatever you like best.

Do what you like! No one will know and if they do, so what? I have used the back before to get the impact that I wanted. I am sure it will be beautiful when it is done.
|
Use the back if you want. There is nothing that says you can't! I have used the backs of fabrics when they have given a more muted color that I liked better than the front.

I think it is a great idea to use it. Only you will know.
