I have had emails sent to me that said they were from my husband and brother in law and a friend. When I asked them they said that they didn't send send me anything. We have decided to use buzz words to tell if they are really from the person we know. Too many scammers out there to take a chance. You don't have to befriend everyone who asks to be a friend. Don't be afraid you are going to hurt someones feelings. I have a friend that tells everything about her business on facebook. This just plain scares me. She says she is just letting her friends know what is going on with her life. There are too many people on facebook who are not our friends. I agree "DELETE", if it really is someone you know they will find another way to contact you. Take care and please be safe. BrendaK

Thing is, if I ever ask Nato something outright, he NEVER lies to me.

He doesn't know who this is & is concerned.

delete, ignore and forget. if it is legit, they will contact you properly. esp. since hubby says he has no idea.

I'm almost positive now that it is my sister-in-law. She has me for our family's Secret Santa.

i asked her if she remembered who she had & she commented, "I have you, I have a special plan for you. ;)"

Are you sure Nato isn't looking to surprise you for Christmas? Christmas secrets don't count as lies. Just give a number and defriend him.

I'm absolutely sure it isn't Nato. He would have at least told me it was safe, that we know the person.

Also, we are barely scraping by. He/we can't afford it.

Hence why I've begun selling doll quilts. To be able to buy it for myself so that after I get it I can start using it to make larger quilts to sell, and giving Nato a good portion of the money for bills.

This sounds like very good advice. Don't reply to something you are unsure of.

This definitely has the smell of a scam written all over it as far as I am concerned and I would delete the message. You say you have been out to the site to look at the frame several times a week, they could be phishing (gathering info via the internet from your visits to the site). Even if you think you know who it is, if you don't reply they will say something somewhere along the line to give it away. If it is family, they could ask Nato what you want and ask him to keep it a secret from you. If he is concerned about it, he probably is not involved. Delete and forget it ever arrived is good advice as many have given you. It is amazing what they can pull from the internet browsing and e-mails, so never put anything out there you don't want anyone to see and especially not personal information. When you enter sweepstakes, unless they state that they won't sell your address, you can bet it is sold to a bunch of people for advertising purposes, how do you think the junk mailers get your address, they buy it from someone else.
