If they look decent & are that cheap, I rescue them. 1 I found had another inside of it!!!

I, too, see old quilts, but my house is pretty small and I don't have enough room for my quilts. I also have my mom's quilts (about 5). I just can't have everything, I decided. I have too much already. Someone else will enjoy the ones I don't buy.

If you can you should go back and get them. Someone on the board would probably love to have them and might just have room for them.

Bless you. Heirlooms always have a start. Good luck. Your children will thank you one day. Just be sure to date them on the back.

Love the block in the first quilt. Is it applique? I have not seen that in a quilt. Does anyone know if there is a name? Quilt Fan

Been restoring 3 tops that I bought at an estate auction for very cheap. Didn't realize when I got the box home there were hand pieced Dresden Plates, enough for a full/queen quilt. Also had enough bow ties hand pieced for a twin.
