Chop sticks for turning and poking out corners on bag pockets. q-tips pick up lint in between major cleanings.

I use the frige magnets that you get from businesses as pincushions. Just turn over to the black side and drop the pins on. The one I'm using now has this years calendar on one side. Also very handy.

I use a washable glue stick for holding tricky seams together where pins would make a lump. I use my grandma's very small crochet hook to pull threads into the batting after quilting. I use zip top bags to keep small pieces together. I use the sheet protectors to hold unfolded pattern pieces. Looking around the sewing room, the most prominant items are those wonderful plastic bins that hold everything from rotary blades to thread to fabric.

Oh....Divokitty'smom reminded me about under the sewing machine. I use the comfort pads that you get when you have a mammogram.......they're nice dense foam with an adhesive side that goes on the mammo machine. I know - a little over the top but they use it for a few minutes and toss them away. I bring mine home.

Haven't seen this one yet- I use childrens washable markers to mark my quilts. Every bit of it easily washes out.

I have tried markers that are marked "washable, & for craft", but couldn't get it out of flannel.

I use a lovely new shiny screwdriver for holding the seems flat and to ease the journey of the fabrics as they go through the machine. It is a neat and small and works well for me
