Has anyone tried this, does it work? I just want something to cut lots of strips with while watching a movie with hubby.
We have movie night several times a week. I can't just sit a watch a movie, I have to be doing something else too.
Must be a busy brain thing......LOL

My mother bought one many years ago to use for making braided rugs. She liked it very much for that work, but then the strips did not have to be perfect when they were rolled into a "tube" for braiding.

I think the seven reviews of one star speak for themselves. It even addresses that Left Handed people would find it impossible.

I haven't seen this before either. It looks interesting but the photo doesn't really give me an idea of how it works. I will have to read all the posts to see if anyone is using it.

I suggest the June Taylor ruler for cutting strips. Get the large one. I got mine at Joann's with a coupon.

I have tried the Simplicity strip cutter and it is difficult to get straight strips. Eleanor Burns and I believe June Taylor have a large ruler with "slots" for your rotary cutter to cut various widths of fabric from 1/2 inch to larger widths. They have them at Hancocks and JoAnns so you can get 40%off .

I think the June Taylor Shape Cut with a rotary cutter would be easier.

After reading the Customer Reviews of this product, I wouldn't waste the $ on it. Maybe it works better for somebody but I'd pay attention to the reviews. Sounds like a poss. waste of fabrics by not being able to get even strips. Or am I missing something?

I am with faykilgore - the times I spent cuddled with my husband are some of the best memories I have of him. Go for the cuddle!

I have the same problem. My husband holds my hand while we watch TV and that kind of helps to mellow me out
