Has anyone tried this, does it work? I just want something to cut lots of strips with while watching a movie with hubby.
We have movie night several times a week. I can't just sit a watch a movie, I have to be doing something else too.
Must be a busy brain thing......LOL

As a widow, my suggestion is be in the moment with your husband during your date. Hold hands, snuggle, feed each other popcorn. I can think of other hands on activities, but you get the picture. As for the tool, I've never tried that one. I still cut strips with a rotary cutter.

Nice suggestions. Not so sure about feeding popcorn to each other though.

Can you tell us where you got this strip-maker? Does it have a specific name?

I haven't bought it yet. Still toying with the idea.

I've never seen this before or heard of it. Guess you will have to get it and let us know how it works and if it is worth it, lol.

I think I have one. If it's the same thing, it was hard to get the fabric to go through it straight. I got it to make strips to use in a crocheted rug, so the straightness doesn't matter as much. For sewing, I was disappointed that it didn't cut wider strips.

The reviews were not good on that tool!

I have never seen one like that. I know how you feel about keeping your hands busy, I can't set in front of the tv without reading or sewing something. My DH can't understand how I can watch a movie and read a book at the same time and know what is going on in both but I can.
