I would vote for a crazy quilt with fancy stitches but I also like the Prairie Queen pattern a lot. I have worked with satins and I don't envy you the job. good luck. I think a stabilizer is a good idea

A crazy quilt sounds great maybe you could swap with some of the others for different colors or you could make doll dress from the fabric for all of the women in the wedding like a wedding party of barbies. Something on that order it would also be great for a grandaughter some day :-D

Since it was a western theme and you have an embroidery machine, you should check out emblibrary.com. They have the nicest embroidered western boots and hats patterns.

What about the Latte Quilt. It is beautiful in satin. If you iron on the fusible batting to the silk it is very easy to sew and the satin won't fray. When you finish your quilt you only need to back it.

I was asked to make a DWR wall hanging for a lady who had all the leftover fabric from her daughter's wedding. The majority of the fabrics were slinky or wispy, AWFUL to sew! It took me 3 tries to finally hit on the idea to iron the pieces to freezer paper before sewing together. Then I got to pick out the paper with tweezers before appliqueing the rings to the backing, but it came out awesome!

those fabrics wouldn't be any trouble on a puff patch or biscuit quilt
