Same Here but trying to go on a fabric diet

I'm sort of in the same boat you are. I make mostly scrap quilts, but find that I never seem to have enough of anyone kind of stash to go with what I've started, so I wind up buying more to add to my stash. Seems to be a never ending circle:rolleyes:

I seem to gravitate to fabrics that would make kaleidoscope quilts. I also love brights & florals. The 30's, civil war reproductions, thimbleberries just don't float my boat.

I wish I could but I've realized that I have only 1 bin of background fabric (creams/lights) to my 34 bins of misc prints. Like having a freezer full of meat and only having a small bag of potatoes..........

Sigh............

I have the opposite problem, I like SO many different fabrics !
I love civil war and 1800s reproductions, I like the 30's and 40's prints ... but I ALSO love batiks, Amy Butler and Joel Dewberry etc, bright modern prints ...!
I head in all different directions these days ... but that's the fun of it IMHO !
