I did that, when I "discovered" Warm Wishes. It was so easy, I had to try other color combos. Now I'm a bit tired of it, so am ready to move along to other patterns.

People who do not quilt have no concept of the time, energy and money that goes into making one. Do not feel badly about saying no. You are dealing with people who have no clue. When you finish the 12 that you are working on, do no more. If someone asks you for one, politely tell them I'm finishing up on an order, and I am not going to do any more. If that person gets upset, sobeit. It's time for you to move on and do other kinds of quilts.

I make multiples of almost everything I do. Right now it is 25 woven ribbon scarves and 15 crocheted wire necklaces. I have made 6 or 8 grids and grommets and the same number of my favorite purses last year.

Here's my concept I own the pattern, I have worked out the kinks, they have seen it and like it. Piece of cake!

BTW, yes I do get in a rut and then I quit and move on. Until then though it is usually the perfect gift that I know will be appreciated. If you don't want to do it, say no.

Not really. I am good at saying "no" and going at my own pace.

Awesome! Maybe you could put a "tute" on the Board!

I've made 4 Professional Totes but that was because I wanted to give them as gifts. Most of the time I only make a quilt once - there are too many new ones to make! Don't make quilts to sell and only give to those I want to give to. No comes in real handy. Learned that long ago.

I never do request. If someone has the nerve to ask for a certain one, I have the courage to say NO.

I'm stuck right there with you! I did a super easy pattern that used all fat quarters - everyone wanted one. DD and sister were told to "do your own, here's the pattern", but can't do that to grandsons....and because it's so easy and goes together so nicely I'll do theirs with it too, and be able to finish theirs for Christmas presents. Can't wait to get to do something much more complex with nobody rushing me on to the next one.

Gotta ask - what's warm wishes, where do I get THAT pattern?
