ME! ME! ME! [raising my hand]

Went through the nail and through the finger but did not break the bone. Really hurt.

My friend calls her machine Nipper because she got the needle through her finger. She had to wake up her husband to pull it out. He pulled from the hole side down instead of the top out first so he pulled the wider through after the narrow went through. Somehow the next day it still had thread in it.

You weren't the first and you won't be the last.

My sister did, when I was little, and I had to run to get mom to help her. Ouchie!

OMG!! I would faint! Terrified of needles...especially in me! lol

Sure. Middle of the night - no one up but me. Embedded the needle in the bone. I couldn't get it out, so I had to reach around to the thumbscrew to take out the needle. I woke my husband up with a pair of pliers in one hand and a needle in the bone in the other. Luckily, there was no blood on the pricy silk organga I was working on.

Soak yours in warm, soapy water (antibacterial soap) for 10 minutes twice a day.

Done it to both forefingers, different machines (one with my D1 and one with my FW) and different times. [Just trying to be one with my machines, I guess (LOL).] Definitely a reason for using a stiletto or something else for a fabric guide. However, I am still using my fingers, just too lazy to remember the stiletto.

Take care.
