Anyone know anything about this line of fabric
1 Attachment(s)
I bought this fabric ( many many yards :o) ) but I cannot find any information on it and whether there were any coordinating fabrics that went with it
Millefleurs 4621 . 100%cotton . by Sue Beevers . for Northcott Does anyone have any info? Looked on Sue Beever's site and on the Northcott site, but there isn't any mention of this line. Thanks everyone! Carole |
I don't know anything about the fabric but gee it's beautiful.
Lynn P.S. like the name Chester the Bunny |
Stunning fabric! Let us know what you make with it, will surely be breath taking!
It was a 2011 line that came out about this time last year, but I can't find any more details or samples. Sorry. It's harder to search because the name is also used by several other companies.
Found Sue's website - she has some beautiful fabric but I didn't see this one.
http://www.suebeevers.com/index.html Closest I could come up with with this was a fall, 2011 line. Maybe a LQS might still have some. Would love to see what you decide to do with it! |
I don't know anything about it but I sure love it!
Wow!! That is beautiful!! Sorry, I do not know any more info.
That is one pretty fabric, I wish I had some!
Try Michael Miller...here's the image search.

Thanks for leads. Isn't it funny that I can't find it anywhere online even though it's only about one year old.
What seems odd to me as I have spent the last few internet minutes looking at Sue Beevers' stuff and that just doesn't seem to fit with her current motifs.
There are numbers on the selvage edge of the fabric with colors in them...these are the coordinating colors for this print even if there is no certain line they came from.My advice is to take the color strip with you to the fabric store and see if you can match them if you can't find the line...wish I had better info for you!
i agree, very odd. You might contact Sue through her website and she what she can tell you! Good Luck :)
There's QB category titled "In Search of" beneath the Chit/Chat category in the Forum column. I bet if you posted a thread there someone could come up with more fabric help. I'm always amazed at how they are able to locate some off-the-wall fabric with very little information.
write to Northcut and ask them.
Check out quiltshops.com and put the name of the fabric and maker in their search. It should give you the shops that might still have some of the fabrics in that line left.
Also, you could email them with that picture. In my search for that I have founds some really cool fabric!

"change of heart" http://www.northcott.net/?sid=2&layo...=1&colorid=742 has numbers up to 4620. Maybe one of those would coordinate?
also, there was this fabric (the link to Northcott is broken) http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quil...r-northcott-2/ |
I like the fabric. Maybe at the time it wasn't popular so they just dropped it

Have you thought of emailing the fabric maker - maybe they can help you?
I went to www.findmyfabric.com and didn't find anything under any of the names. Sure is pretty fabric though. Must have been very popular....LOL
LOVE the fabric but I can't help you.
Have you tried this resource? http://www.fabshophop.com/fabsearch.asp I have used this site to search for several older (1 year+) fabrics, and got results both times. They send the information out to 1000 different LQS to see if anyone has any of the fabrics. In your case, you could ask about co-ordinates for it. Hope this helps
Very pretty. Please post some pics after you've made a project with it. :)
Have you tried the on line "outlet stores" like Fabric.com? Beautiful fabric.
Pretty fabric. So many colors to go with it.
Don't know where it came from but I sure would love to know as that would be a perfect canvas for free motion quilting practice doing it as a whole cloth. Please share if you find the source.
I went to Suebeavers.com, enclosed a picture of your fabric with your questions. I'll let you know what she says.
You guys are great to look for some information for me. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
1000s projects - that "quiltmaker" link has a fabric that sure looks like it would be from the same line. Susanlh - I bought the bolt at Fabricland in Canada, and have since looked online on every fabric search engine that I know of. Cannot find this fabric listed anywhere. Matraina - thank you very much for requesting information from the maker, very sweet of you. I look forward to her answer. What I was hoping for is a border print. This fabric has 6 different 12" panels and I plan to make alternating blocks using the colors in the panels. I'll post some pics when I'm done! Thanks again everyone! Carole |
Love that fabric, wish they made more
I am jumping on the love the fabric bandwagon! Its really pretty...if you decide to sell any of it, well....I do have a pm setting here...:)
Regards, Kif |
Love this fabric. It is like a piece of glass I bought in Venice. Murano glass is made like this in Murano, Italy. I think it means 'many flowers'.
That is a fabulous fabric. It is so bright and colorful. Wish I had a few yards of that baby. It should not be hard to find fabrics that play nicely with it.
Go to Sue Beevers website. On the left hand side there is a Contact button. Send her an email, tell her your problem, and ask if she can suggest where you might find additional coordinating fabric for this line. Also, go on Northcott's website, get their phone number and give them a call. I've had this same problem in the past, and actually the designer herself had EXACTLY the amount of fabric I needed to complete a quilt -- which she sold to me directly. As a very last resort, go onto a website called: fabshophop.com and do a search there. They have hundreds of shops nationwide that participate in their program, and you just might get lucky and find what you are looking for. Good luck in your continued search!

Wow, that is beautiful piece of fabric.
Oh my very beautiful. So many projects that could used in.
Wow, that is a gorgeous piece of fabric. Let us know if you have any luck from northcott or Sue Beevers.
Northcott is a good quality quilting fabric. If the weave is tight, why are you concerned? The design is lovely.

I PM's Carole but here's the response I got from Sue Beevers:
what you have is a promotional piece of fabric from a Northcott line that never actually was printed - apparently there just weren't enough orders. it was quite disappointing for me, since I loved the line! If you check out the Northcott website, you'll see some of my current lines, and there are more to come - just not that one. sorry! sue beevers |
