I would not move anything in an open truck. Only a box type enclosed truck would do.
I hope whomever lost the quilts will find them. Not everyone gets on FB or uses a computer. |
My quilts and sewing machine would be in the car with me....even if I had to have my husband drive in another vehicle to make room for them in my car! LOL

I'm not planning a move but I agree with lindaschipper. I think I would do the same or have them in an enclosed trailer that I would be pulling behind my car. I know some have to have vans to move them, but some things are just irreplaceable

I remember when I moved from NewZealand to the US I was very worried about my quilts. Some had to be shipped by boat and I managed to squeeze two into my suitcase. I did feel like I would probably never see them again. Luckily that was not the case, but I agree with Lindaschipper, if I ever had to move again, my quilts and machine are staying with me! And I pack them!

Wow! That's awesome!

I went to the Facebook posts. The quilts were not reunited with their owner according to the updated information. The tops are really nice so hopefully the owner will be found.
