I have I have done an appliqué with fusible on both sides and pinked the edges. Do I need to do further stitching along the inside of the pinking?

I would...

I didn’t get a full message

That was my full message. I was saying, 'Yes, I would stitch around them'.

Yes, applique needs to be stitched down after fusing to the background if the project will ever be laundered. The fusible usually used is a temporary hold that keeps your pieces in place for stitching.
there is a ( no-sew fusible) that is very heavy and stiff- it does not need sewing- in fact is next to impossible to stitch through- it remains stiff & thick - does not wash away like the.fusibles normally used for appliqué on quilts.it is More appropriate for wall hangings, art quilts that are not meant to be handled, used laundered.
