Default Appliqués

I have I have done an appliqué with fusible on both sides and pinked the edges. Do I need to do further stitching along the inside of the pinking?

Yes, applique needs to be stitched down after fusing to the background if the project will ever be laundered. The fusible usually used is a temporary hold that keeps your pieces in place for stitching.
there is a ( no-sew fusible) that is very heavy and stiff- it does not need sewing- in fact is next to impossible to stitch through- it remains stiff & thick - does not wash away like the.fusibles normally used for appliqué on quilts.it is More appropriate for wall hangings, art quilts that are not meant to be handled, used laundered.
