my mom loaned me hers -- it's so nice to not accidentily cut into your hard work and ruin it.

What I like about mine is that they should cut sharp all the way to the tip...and be small enough to get into little valley and corners...

embroidery scissors are very very sharp to the tip which makes them very useful...i use mine more than any others i think

I like them. You still have to be careful with them, but they do make the trimming safer.

I have been wondering about getting a pair of these, too.

So far, I've mostly left the fabric on the backside of the applique, but you miss some of the applique "look" when you do that, don't you?

When I do remove the backing fabric, I use tiny little embroidery scissors and go really slow.

I have a small pair with a bent tip. they get everywhere and are sharp right to the end.
