Maybe you could cut down the "oopsies" and make a few small blocks. Use them in borders, on the back or make a table runner. Never worry its quilting!

I found myself mis-cutting because of lost feeling in my hands. I found using the Olfa ruler with the lip that catches on the table and Martelli's ergonomic rotary cutter have improved my cuttings skills.

I feel your pain - I swear I use the same mark each time I cut with the rotary cutter and somehow it's different - drives me nuts!!!!

Looking at the fabric makes my eyes 'crazy' (double vision). I can see why you'd have a cutting mishap! But I think it will look great when you're done.

Have you thought about making the oopsie ones into something else? You could put them as the centers of blocks and let their wonkiness turn into something different but still beautiful.

I actually used them to practice Y seams (though I'm not using those on the real quilt) and turned them into a doll quilt for a neighbor. It's already on the doll bed!

gosh and I thought I was the only one who did that I can not use rotary and no matter how carefully I cut draw template on cut out it seems my seams do not match up almost to the point of giving up and going back to crochet
but did so want to do my son a quilt for his birthday in December so have ordered some charm packs to try hope you have gook luck this time
