hi there,
am new to the posting, however have been using this site for over a year if not two. i lived in japan for three years and have a great paper piece pattern for the fabrics which i must say they are lovely. i am still getting oriental fabrics from a few of the japanese ladies that were in the guild while stationed in okinawa. they are very talented when it comes to very intricate and hand quilting. not to discount any of the ladies i have read about and seen pictures of on this site, because we have some wonderful jaw dropping talent right here in the good old USA. i would be happy to mail the pattern to you and a picture of two of the quilts i have made using this and another pattern i have. am not so sure i could duplicate the paper piece on line or not. anyway feel free to post back and maybe you would have an interest. debbie |

If you like applique, the fan or the Dresden Plate come to mind. Those two patterns are some of my favorites. But if you can't decide, just send them all to me and I will give them a good home!

Pam--the fabrics are fabulous. Love your layout. I just know you will come up with something amazing. Have fun with those fabrics!

Sue-- your quilt is beautiful. I tried to chose a favorite row, but I just can't. I don't remember ever seeing an origami pattern before.
Pam--thanks for the link to the pattern of the flower. I will have to see if I can do fabric better than paper. Cathe--your quilt is wonderful. I have one along a similar line that I need to get quilted, then I will post it. |
