I vote for the blue as well

I like the red example the best. If not red I would go with an almost pink rather than white. The red stripe could cause problems with direction of the stripes.

I like the aqua or the red stripe. I think it would be a nice change from the white - something different. :)

The shown quilt is wonderful and the quilt you are making will look different depending on the background you want to use.

I love the top two colors the best, for myself. The red really shows off the hexes and has a 30's feeling to it. The soft blue is very shabby chic. The white looks very traditional.

What feeling do you want the quilt to have? That is the question to answer, not just what looks best.

It is going to be terrific when done and I am looking forward to seeing it.
