Some 12 + hours from now a Category 5 cyclone will cross the coast of northern Australia. This massive storm is the highest rated one to ever affect Australia. Its projected path has a small town of some 10000 or so people (Innisfail), a large city of 120000 plus (Cairns) and many smaller towns in between - and then there will be the aftermath for days, weeks and months. Personally we are some 5 hours or so southwest of the area it is expected to cross ... please pray for the safety of the many people about to be affected by this intense storm - we are bunkering down now ...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you too! I really feel for you folks, we spent 23 years in WA and those huge storms are just the most awful things to have to endure! We shall be glued to the news as we have family there still.

OMG!! Prayers and thoughts to all in Australia. God Bless.

My prayers are with all affected by this storm. I live in Oklahoma City, OK and we had a level 5 tornado just a few years ago. Made a wide swath of destruction diagonally across our state. Fortunately my property was not damaged but several friends had their houses completely blown away just about 3 miles away. Will be thinking of Australia and praying for you all. Stay safe.

Definitely prayers for those in Australia in the cyclone's path. Hopefully the warnings will lesson the problems.
Also saying prayers for those in the USA who may be without power during this huge blizzard and ice storm across 2/3 of the country! |
Husband and I were/are watching that system. What a summer NE Australia has had ... you have to wonder how much people can bear. Hopes and wishes this all ends soon, and well.
|
May the angels protect you and your family and guard over all of Australia, I pray no one is injured, and material loss is at a minimum!
|
You and your neighbors are in my thoughts and prayers ... your beautiful country sure has gone through a lot in recent months.

Praying for the storm to loose its strength, Australia has been through so much this year :(
