Ok.. now I'm blue...LOL THAT'S SOOOO PRETTY... and my husband has confessed to me that he put my fall decorations in the BACK of our storage locker...and it's going to be huge to unearth them. ARUGH!! We were going to build a big shed here last summer (but it didn't happen due to finances). So... he had just been piling up a normally organized unit thinking by fall it would be all reorganized in the new building. Sniff*...not so.. LOVED YOUR PHOTOS!

Will you come decorate my house? Yours is stunning! I especially love the cat; it's the perfect accessory!

I also love autumn. I did the same thing to the house. Still need to put up my autumn light in autumn foliage on my mantle in the living room. I leave it all up until after Thanksgiving. A question for you , on your Alpine tree....do you leave it up all year? or not. I havre been looking for a skinny one to put on my sun porch. So in te winter I can open the kitchen door and see it........recipe for your plum cake.....it looks yummy.

jad1044 09-24-2011 06:15 AM

It all looks so festive, yummy and beautiful! and Kitty looks like it is just part of his everyday life - enjoying it to the max, and not knowing he adds to the Halloween effect! Love it!

Ooooooooooooooh, can I come live with you? I love Fall, too. Unfortunately right now we are just glad the temps have dropped to the low nineties. We're hoping that we get a few days of that wonderful Fall weather that I love.

Love the autumn tree! I also love to decorate for this season, drives my husband crazy because all those decorations are taking over his space, haha!

Polliwog 09-24-2011 07:56 AM

Thanks for sharing your beautiful fall decorating and plum cake pictures and recipe with us. Love the tree - what a good way to display seasonal items. Looking forward to seeing what you do for the winter holidays.

My favorite too. Time for bread, soups, apple anything.

Nikki and Co. 09-24-2011 08:26 AM

Lovely pictures....what time are you serving cake?...LOL

KS quilter 09-24-2011 08:29 AM

Thanks so much for posting. I do a lot of baking, and I'll be trying this real soon. Your eye for decorating is wonderful. I do about as much with fall as I do at Christmas..about my favorite time of the year. Our kitty has passed on (sure miss her). I really think yours is sitting there picking out what she wants to play with first!!

red-warrior 09-24-2011 08:42 AM

I think my family would commit me if I would leave it up all year lol.I will take this one down last ,around the start of March, when it is getting warm outside.at christmas It is decorated with old timey ornaments and red bows,,January it has snowflakes and then it is decorated with a westerntheme...bandanas,raffia and cowboyboots:)

gladgirl 09-24-2011 02:09 PM

I just love your pictures! They remind me of the way I decorated when I was a younger woman, but don't do so much anymore, just a few of my fall wall hangings and table runners now. Your personality shows through in the way your home looks. Great job!

twixbar 09-24-2011 02:52 PM
