yep :-)

Mine is a Round Robin Quilt that is going in a quilt show this week. I did the centre square, and my 5 quilting "sistahs" each did one of the borders.

Mine is a OBW I made for my son.

My avitar pix is a quilt I'm making for my husband when he cranks back in his recliner. He said the smaller quilt throws that we have are too short for him (he's 6' 3")when he reclines back in his chair. So I'm custome making this quilt for him. It's wide enough for his chair and long enough to cover his feet!!

on any of the versions I have put up. Anyway, it is
not an actual quilt yet, but once I can decide which
version I like best using these fabrics, it will become
a quilt, and eventually a pattern that can be marketed
and sold.

Marcia, I like the one that is up now, but it's so tiny I can't really see the pattern or the design. It seems to be a kaleidoscope. Is it?

Good Morning, how does one upload or pick an avitar??? I am working on my first quilt & I plan on working on the second one today, hopefully, no one will screw up my plans today. Lol!! It seems every time I make plans something screws them up. Hope all of you have a great day!!

Pieceful Quilter 05-17-2011 06:36 AM

Mine is too.

Hi Gail,
No, it's not a kaleidoscope. It is an original design
with two blocks creating an alternate look. I did
have up just the quilt without the borders, and
fewer blocks. I decided to change the pic to the
same quilt with borders, but you are right, it is
too small to really see the design. I think I will
change it again. Stay tuned...
Have a Blessed Day!
Marcia

Mine is a purse I designed for Robert Kaufman Challenge. Was so proud it was chosen. then it traveled all over country with Sewing and Quilting Expo.
Thanks for letting us all know how important these pics are for us. Pegeth

Your quilt is really pretty, I have been thinking of doing one but quilt as you go. What size blocks did you use? It looks like a 5x7. I am trying to learn, I just finished a pinwheel lap quilt, used warm and natural batting but when i sewed the top & sides, the batting stretched so I fudged it. I have had it sitting on my table for 3 years just didnt understand how to square the quilt, and I still dont understand. lol!! I hope to soon learn.

Mine is a block from a quilt that I am making for my niece who at the tender age of 19 is graduating as a paramedic, she is already a fully qualified firefighter. That's a great accomplishment for a 19 year old girl!

montanajan 05-18-2011 12:09 AM

I had a snowman wall hanging up as an avatar which I had made - sick of snow & winter here in NW Montana, so I changed my avatar to a recently acquired treadle machine.

Wonnie 05-18-2011 05:02 AM

Thank ALL of you for responding to my curiosity in regard to the Avitars. Have LOVED reading all your responses. I would post one myself except, as I look around my home I see almost nothing I have made because they've all been gifts!!!...and that's okay, too. :_D

fraydknot12326 05-18-2011 06:21 AM

Wonnie ~ maybe you could get into the habit of taking pics of your gifts ... just a thought :D

Jagsd3 05-18-2011 07:54 AM

I think about it but that's about as far as it gets... I SHOULD have started about 54 years ago. Ran into an old friend of about that many years back the other day and she said, " Oh, I still have that little gift you made for me in 1967!" and I had to ask her what it was. Embarrasing! If I had taken pictures I would have glanced at them through the years and it would have jogged my memory. What is it the Amish say?.....Too soon olt un too late schmart!

k9dancer 05-18-2011 06:06 PM

Mine is the center of a wall quilt I made for a friend.

Kallen 05-20-2011 05:05 PM

Mine is a graduation gift I made my son. Made him too.
