AZ quilt shops

I'm going to be all over the state of Arizona for 10 days beginning this Thursday. I've been there often before and visited many quilt shops, but I know that some have closed, like Quilters Store in Sedona and Three Dudes. I assume there are some new ones and some good ones I missed in previous trips. Can you tell me your favorites - big and small? Thanks so much.

I like 35th Street in Phoenix. They are on 35th and National, not hard to find. It is a sew and vac place, but in the past few years has expanded its quilting supplies. Love the way it is laid out; if you want batiks, sports, kids, whatever, check out the signs overhead.

There's a beautiful quilt shop in Phoenix at 4649 E. Cactus. They have gorgeous high quality fabric and usually each week something different is on a special sale. It's my favorite place to go.

I recently moved to Texas after living in Phoenix for 27 years . Could you possibly be referring to 35th Ave and , rather than National ? Also , the first thing I learned about Phoenix was to always know if an address is Avenue or Street ? Big difference . Avenues are the West side of the valley and Streets are the East side of the valley . I really miss Phoenix, especially the winter months . It gets very cold in Dallas .

35th Ave and Northern Ave. https://www.35thavesewandvac.com/
I would google and call before I take a drive.

If you are going to be in Yuma there is Grandma Jo's on 32 St. They have lovely fabric but I would go first to Bonnie's Fabric in the market. They have now doubled the size of their store and their prices are great. Perhaps someone else can pitch in with an address or directions or I will get back to you with more info.

In the metro Phoenix way, Modern Quilting is my favorite shop - they have an amazing selection of fabrics. The staff has always been lovely to me. I've taken a class there as well and very happy with them! 4649 E. Cactus Road Phoenix, Arizona 85032 https://www.modernquilting.com/

If you enjoy wool applique, primitive and repro fabrics, wonderful threads, The Olde World Quilt Shop is on the northern end of the Valley. https://www.theoldeworldquiltshoppe.com/

Enjoy your visit, the town will be buzzing with baseball spring training -so keep that in mind if you're driving in Phoenix/Scottsdale/Glendale/everywhere in the valley!

Thanks for the directions. If possible, look up the address on the web, they have 3 stores, but the one in Phoenix, not a suburb, is the only one I visited. And if you think Dallas is cold, try where I live - Wisconsin!!! (We are a hardy breed up here)
