Do you prefer A or B?

If you have a preference, why?

(If I would have been thought ahead, I would have just drawn pencil lines, made copies of the line drawings, and added the color later - but I was just going to do the one drawing when I started.)

I prefer A because it looks so much more complex, even though it is just a difference in the placements of the blocks. Be sure to show us your finished piece!

I like B better, it looks "woven".

I vote for A ~ it looks like it has a bit more going on, (ditto above)

Ditto. Hope to see the actual quilt when finished.

I like B - it looks more like plaid, and plaid reminds me of my Dad, so it makes me happy. :)

Like A better..just do.

My preference is A. Not sure why...I think the stripes going down first (in B) make it look narrower somehow.

This is an example of how/why a design board/wall can be helpful - and taking a picture of each version as one plays with the pieces -

Sometimes a piece will also look "different" when it is turned.

When being fitted at the optician's for glasses - anyone else have trouble deciding if one can see better with A or with B? or with C or with D?

When it is close - I usually choose the one I like "better" - even though - as far as I can tell - the clarity of the view is about the same to me.
