I think it looks really good. I found using some starch when ironing before cutting gives the fabric more stiffness and handles better . Makes sewing easier to me. Good luck and it is pretty.

I would make the star pieces dark and use lighter ones around it. I would also put a border on it. You are doing great.

Thank you, everyone! I'll be working on it a little tonight after the kids are in bed. I have another darker grey I'll swap in and I think I'll move some pieces around. I'm really loving watching it come to life. I now understand how easy it is to become obsessed with quilting!

Your quilt is going to be outstanding and what a great job you are doing. I have a truly personal suggestion and that is to remove the beige and grey legs of the star and use two other bright colors. I believe this will help your star pop with those beautiful back ground prints and colors.
