Have you considered a small print floral in the white areas? A solid tan would work too.
I like the white but just offering another solution. Good luck with it. |
Gold with a tinge of tan in it? Still the Packers color, but maybe a little more masculine, and it would be easier to keep a clean look.

My only suggestion is maybe a flannel backing b/c I heard treatments make people cold.
What a nice thing you're doing :) |
There's no rule that says you have to use all one background color. Use the yellow background on the green stars and the green background on the yellow stars. A lot of teams also have a third color. Check and see what the Packers third color is and maybe use it.
|
What about a dark gray? not quite black but will still allow the green and yellow to stand out.
|
Creamy mottled fabric like the Moda Marbles would be my choice. I'm not a fan of white unless there's no choice.
|
Might also want to make a matching bag, doesn't have to be pieced, just the same fabric. If possible, line it with a slippery fabric so the quilt slides in and out easily.
|
I say use yellow, too. ANY color will show stains!!!! If you look hard enough!
