They are both stunning but number 1 is my favourite
Jan x |
I like the 2nd one
I like number one in fact I have been looking for this pattern can you tell me the name of it and is it hard to put together. I want it done in pinks and blacks for my nieces wedding quilt and the heart is just popping out.

I like both , leaning to #2
I like number one. Which ever one you choose it's beautiful
Both beautiful, but I prefer #1.

hard choice, but #2 gets my final vote

Well I haven't counted all the 1s and 2s so not sure which view is ahead. I've made a few and I like them both! It depends on the look you're going for. #1 reminds me of a butterfly and has a floaty, swaying feel while #2 reminds me of a God's Eye and is a more traditional Bargello look. If I had to pick its #1 for me. Love your colors!

#2 grabs me so I vote for it

Wow, thank you for such a great response. I really do appreciate it.. Looks like No1 is the winner, so that's the one I will go with. The pattern is Piccolo Bargllo Uno by Becky Botello and isn't hard to do. The instructions give you a choice of version 1 or 2 and the selection of fabric plays a big part in how it will turn out.Picking fabric is the hardest part for me, when doing a bargello. This one is in two parts and the second half is a mirror image of the first.Thank you for all the comments, they have been very helpful.

I find Number 2 to be too anatomical, so I vote for the more abstract effect of No 1.
The first one is my choice......But you have to decide which one you like best. They are both beautiful..
My vote is for the first one.
I love the first one.

Hi,I'm doing another bargello and also an African table topper which has lots of black in it. I can only work onthe table topper for a short time because it's so hard on the eyes. So, I then go back to the bargello. I now have a choice to make and just can't make up my mind. Will it be number 1 or ,by turning it around and removing the last row, will it be number two?.( I am an expert at unpicking so this will not be a problem lol). Which one would you choose? Thanks

I like them both but would choose one if I only had one choice....
Ooh-they're both beautiful but I LOVE the way the colors push out to the edge on the ist one.
they both are great but maybe number one is more interesting. close your eyes and pick one!
i like 2 also it draws you into the quilt.. beautiful quilt.
I like #2. It reminds of the God's eye weavings.
I say go with one, my husband did too. Great colors.
I like number one. Beautiful quilt.
Definitely number 1 is my choice. You have picked a beautiful color combination.
Both are BEAUTIFUL!!
I think #1 I like #2 I think the binding would be close to the green. |
I vote for #2 - I just like the symmetry more.
Guess the consensus is BOTH are great. I totally agree tho' I tend to like #1 best. Can you make both?
I like number 1
Number two.
I love number 1
I'm partial to number 1. Why I don't know. Just like the way it looks.
I just saw this pattern earlier today....wonderful pattern and great colors. I prefer #1. Nice Job!
I like them both, but think # 2 is more traditional
