Bargello- Which one would you choose?
 

Hi,I'm doing another bargello and also an African table topper which has lots of black in it. I can only work onthe table topper for a short time because it's so hard on the eyes.So, I then go back to the bargello. I now have a choice to make and just can't make up my mind. Will it be number 1 or ,by turning it around and removing the last row, will it be number two?.( I am an expert at unpicking so this will not be a problem lol). Which one would you choose? Thanks

I like number one.

i like the second one. to me, the first one draws my eyes to the outside of the quilt.

I like the first one.

I like 2. It has more dimension.

I prefer the second one as well. It draws your eye right into the quilt.

I like the first one, very graceful lines that give the entire quilt a sense of movement.

I vote for one. Less typical and more dynamic.

I like both of them, would be hard to choose. Why not make two?

I like #1 since i instantly saw a butterfly. I felt "watched" when I looked at #2'. Love the colors and a bargello is something I would like to try but it seems so intimidating!

It is definitely a difficult choice, but I think I like #1 better, and only because it has a "different" look to it....#2 looks more like an "around the world" pattern.

Both are beautiful, can't go wrong. My first instinct when looking at them was #2. Did I say beautiful?

I like #2. I wasn't going to vote, but I noticed that the votes are very close, and I really like #2. Your colors are very nice.

I like the first one much more. It looks more classy and has more hugable. The second looks like someone's staring at me.

That is a hard choice, they are both so beautiful. I think I would go with the first one.

I prefer the second. Seems to show off the purples better. The green, while I love all your color choices, seems to be too prominent in the first.

My vote is also for number 1 - it seems to flow better..........

The second one looks more like typical bargelloes to me. my eyes go to the white middle and then out to the edges of the quilt. Like a painting, it's better to bring ones eyes into the picture rather than bring them to the outside edges.

I like number one better, more unusual, light/airy and full of movement and the wings at the edges bring my eyes to the middle...
