I have not met a batik I didn't like! Charm packs, jelly rolls, or 5 yards of fabric, they are all beautiful and wonderful to sew with.

I did the X&O quilt with batik charm packs and it turned out great. Also just did the jelly roll race quilt with batik strips and it is beautiful. Will try to get DH to post pictures when I finish them.

Personal preference, I guess. I like them.

My mom did a double irish chain for me, some of the blocks are 2X2 inches...the batiks in it still look wonderful. I don't think it matters how small you cut up a batik...they are ALL wonderful!!! :)
