I also use the thinner batting. I like it a lot, it handles fine, and doesn't weigh the quilt down so much. Still warm, and less expensive to use. I bought a bolt of it from Walmart last time. I believe it was Quilters Touch by Pellon. I still have a queen size Warm and Natural bat to use, but not looking forward to it since I have used to the poly thin batting.

I am keeping the two rolls that I bought as I don't have the receipt to take it back.. I make a lot of quilts for the hospital so I guess it will work for that. The next time I will be buying warm and natural for sure. I started quilting with it and it is going ok a little thin but it does quilt pretty good.

Same here on the big roll. When we have a 50% coupon we get the 45 X 48 roll of polyester.
