Ohhhh, my oldest son would love it!! I would add some fun blocks around it in the colors then a couple of borders.

Someone on the board did a quilt with the window panes through the panel. It had the feeling of looking through a window to the "yard". I dont' remember the member that did the cool quilt though. Sorry.

LOVE your idea...and having the main panel near the foot of the bed...its best location.

How big are the panels? Could be used in 9-Patch Pizzazz or Reflections. I love that panel.

i used this panel years ago for my neice.
i found grass printed fabric kinda like in the fabric
to make the size larger.
i used tiger print fabric for back and used black
embrodary thread and tied the quilt only in the grass
borders. i hand quilted around the tigers
looks really cool

You could add borders with cornerstones like in this Manor House Design (use your own measurements to fit your panel). Here are two pictures:

I made this panel into a wall hanging and quilted around each tiger, the large green leaves and then around the rust border did a circular pattern. If you want to make it into a quilt I would find more jungle pattern fabric and expand using a pattern that would go with a jungle pattern. Post pics when you decide so we can see what you decided.
