I use Thread Heaven also! :-) Love it!!!

Okay, for those who don't know, Thread Heaven is not a wax, it's "a space age substance" (the original description *years* ago, LOL!) that can be used the same way, to prevent tangling. I have both. I use both. I prefer wax.

Thread Heaven is good, but wax is cheaper!

I have used it for as many years as I have sewn....did get scolded once by the quilt police who said "dont you know that gets into the fabric"
Its a clean and natural product if you ask me.

I have thread heaven but have trouble running the thread through the little blue box. I prefer beeswax.

One thing that helps if you have trouble......the proper way to thread a needle is to always thread the beginning of the thread...the cut end should always be the knot end. This is the way thread is twisted for proper sewing.
(I hope this is clear to you as it is to me : )

I do not use it, but I remember my Grandmother's and how I used to put it up to my nose and smell it. I had forgotten all about it, and probably never really paid attention to how it was used, since I was very little when I went to her house. Thanks for the tip!

Also use when you applique but be sure to wrap the bees wax with seran wrap or keep in a tight container to make it last longer and stay soft for use. Just pull the thread slowly through or across the wax and you will enjoy your stitching.

Me. I like both, but I really like Thread Heaven the best. I use it for my bindings. The bees wax seems to dry out for some reason.
