I agree with the You Tube suggestion. I've used it when I needed to see versus read about a specific technique - for me it was how to bring the bobbin thread to the top. The downside to a teaching blog is that it is less likely to be in real time, but depending on your learning style, that may not be an issue. Cheers, K |
Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to my grandmother's quilting (sewing, yes, but quilting, no) when she was lucid and actively quilting, so I was a beginner, too, in spite of her legacy. I used YouTube to exhaustion, Missouri Star Quilt site/tutes, and this Board.
