Best Online Quilt Stores?

Hi! I'm wondering what some awesome quilt shops online are. Can you help me out?

Thanks!
Michele :)

Prism99 08-30-2014 10:41 AM

I have liked fabric.com and bugfabric.com a lot.

quiltingcandy 08-30-2014 10:52 AM

I like Fabric.com, Thousands of bolts and one nut, Green fairy quilts, Inklingo and of course Missouri Star Quilt Co.
I also like Cozy Quilts, but don't order it on line because they are within 15 miles of my home.

AngeliaNR 08-30-2014 11:01 AM

Fabric.com, Fabric Shack, and Marshall Dry Goods are my favorites.

RedGarnet222 08-30-2014 11:08 AM

I like fatquarter shop and connecting threads too! I used to go to fabric depot too.

Fabricgator 08-30-2014 11:08 AM

Looking for jelly rolls.

SuzieQuilts 08-30-2014 11:41 AM

Hancocks of Paducah

ManiacQuilter2 08-30-2014 11:53 AM

Fabric Shack. Submitted my order on Sunday and it was shipped out on Monday. They ONLY charge $3.00 Priority Envelope shipping in the US. Yippee !!

Lafpeaches 08-30-2014 11:59 AM

I usually can find what I want on equilter.com. Weekly sales are good but otherwise prices are higher than connecting threads which i also like. Prices a little lower than LQS until you add shipping.

Crafttown fabrics and Whittles. Whittles is located in Kentucky, they have lots of excellent quality fabric from Major Co. for 5.00 a yd. and their shipping prices are Great!!

I like Fabric.com, Missouri Star Quilt Co., Fat Quarter Shop, and the quilt stores on Quiltshops.com of which Fabric Shack is one. I have ordered from many of the shops on Quiltshops.com. The shops send your order quickly and the people I have talked to or corresponded with are wonderful.

I am a huge pre-cut fan - I would try greenfairyquilts.com; crafttown fabrics; etsy has some great prices - just go to Etsy and search for jelly rolls or the specific design. Cotton Bliss; fabricworm; pink chalk fabrics; fat quarter shop; Bear Creek Quilting Company; Craftsy. There are so many - I usually look for the specific design then do a search - you can find a range of prices - also Etsy is great for comparing prices and great fabric stores on there - good luck.

AngeliaNR 08-30-2014 03:14 PM

Oh, precuts? Then I'd probably check Missouri Star Quilt Co.

I have never ordered from her, but I receive e-mails from http://jellyrollfabric.net - This might be a site for you to try for jelly rolls, which she seems to specialize in.

Lately this is mine, because I found what I was looking for at a lower price than anywhere else. And the % off in an email certainly was an extra bonus!
I think if you did the search on here, you will find many posts list the same stores over and over. But don't forget to google either, as there are a great many that go out of their way with fantastic customer service, shipping deals, and stock on hand.

My favorite "go to" shops are The Fat Quarter Shop, Fabric.com, Thousands of Bolts and Hancocks of Paducah. My favorites for special, modern or unique fabrics are: Canton Village Quilt Works, AbbiMays, and The Meandering Thread on Etsy.

QUILTNMO 08-30-2014 05:19 PM

i like connectioning thread and grandmas attic

SusanSusan33 08-30-2014 06:59 PM

I like connecting threads. I've looked at fabric.com but it's overwhelming to me. Way too many choices.

tesspug 08-30-2014 07:11 PM

I use Connecting Threads because their prices are low. Just watch because their precuts are usually a different number than the more expensive fabrics. Missouri Star has a daily deal, it is frequently a jelly roll at a reasonable price.

annt59 08-30-2014 07:16 PM

Www.Thousandsofbolts.com has many beautiful fabrics on sale for $4.95 per yard.

Gatormom3 08-31-2014 06:21 AM

I would add Theoldcountrystore.com - they changed ownership recently but it has not changed their great service?

SouthPStitches 08-31-2014 06:35 AM

Connecting Threads is #1 for me. Also have been very pleased with Thousand Bolts.

pokeygirl 08-31-2014 07:08 AM

I buy all my fabric from shops on Etsy.com or M..star. Never been disappointed.

Lovequilting22 08-31-2014 04:03 PM

My favorite is Missouri Star Quilt Company....but I have also ordered from Connecting Threads, Old Country Store, Craftsy and Etsy. :)

Hi all, just popping in to let you know of a great sale on Quilt in a Day. Today is the last day of the Electric Quilt 7 sale, for Mac's also. You won't believe the price + free shipping + free gift. Go to QIAD and place in cart to see the amazing price. If you've been wanting to purchase, I urge you to have a look. BTW, I have no affiliation to QIAD.

Texas_Sue 09-01-2014 04:24 AM

I love Missouri Star Quilt, Fat Quarter Shop, and Thousands of Bolts. They all are great!

My very favorite is FatQuarterShop.com. I have ordered from Hancocks of Paducah, but I prefer the service of FQS best. Both have great selections and sales often.

KathyKat 09-01-2014 04:51 AM

E-Quilter is especially good for finding theme fabrics.

kwajgirl 09-01-2014 05:20 AM

All those mentioned are great and I use all of them from time to time now that I have no local quilt shop - gasp!. Check out webfabrics.net. Wonderful selection, great shipping.

mariatherese 09-01-2014 05:25 AM

I only order ftom fabricshack.com. Mostly due to that their overseas postage is very reasonable. I should investigate some of the others though. I did some benchmarking +5 years ago and things could have improved since. Anyone else ordering from overseas?

These are 20 piece rolls and usually a good price, especially sale when she has one. She has free patterns also. MSQC daily deal when they have it.

feffertim 09-01-2014 07:39 AM

connecting threads is my favorite, not only because of their prices but also the quality of their fabric and thread

mjhaess 09-01-2014 07:41 AM

I love Missouri Star and Connecting Threads.

fivepaws 09-01-2014 08:38 AM

equilter is my go to for fabric. As well as Arizona Quilts. Of course any that send me emails are on the top on my list at that moment.

Bearpawquilter 09-01-2014 09:27 AM

Be sure to check retailmenot.com for discount codes.

WEBFABRICS - bar none!! www.webfabrics.net...........she has complete lines of blendables, and loads of focus fabrics...............great store to browse in (owner is a quilter too)............and she ships internationally...

KenZ 09-01-2014 12:03 PM

Beautiful Quilt Fabric is a great on line shop. Check the site out at http://beautifulquiltfabric.com/ and see the selection.

IBQUILTIN 09-01-2014 12:19 PM

I like 1000's of bolts. And Marshalls, and Connecting Threads, but for tools and such I like Sew4Less

QuiltingNinaSue 09-01-2014 01:21 PM

I have used most of the online sources listed in answers, but also have gone out to www.fabshophop.com where you 'find' the bunny and can win $10.00 from respective stores. It gives the opportunity to see over a hundred quilt shops who ship from their web sites, each unique in its own way. Great way of viewing quilting stores without traveling to their location.

I like the MIssouri Star Quilts daily specials, and the Stitchin' Heaven daily specials, and Quilt in a Day specials....signed up for newsletters everywhere, just to see the latest offers and fabrics. Its another 'great' way to see a variety offered in the USA....www.fabshophop.com also lists Canadian quilt shops. Although I have never had bad luck with any shop I have ordered from, I suppose its possible to have less than satisfactory service from a store.

BettyGee 09-01-2014 04:32 PM

Fat Quarter Shop and Connecting Threads are two of my favorites. MSQ can't be beat for pre-cuts.
