The lady who long arms my quilts doesn't like pieced backs. Any suggestions on best prices for quilt back fabric?

Fabric.com. That is where I get the backings for customer quilts. That way I don't have to deal with piecing the backs and there are not any extra seams to deal with when hand quilting. Lots of colors, lots of prints, and widths to 108" to 120". About the only place that I have found the 120" in stock on an everyday basis.

she charges me $40.00 any size so I want to keep her happy.

JoAnn's sells 108" fabric, and when you use a 40% coupon, it is very affordable. Of course, the color selection is limited.

Pieced backs don't bother me. The work just as well as anything.

I agree, Rosy. And with keeping the seams going agross the width. That way it gives uniformly when it's on the frame. Lengthwise seams tend to cause uneven rolling. Just in my experience!
