Which is better!
1 Attachment(s)
Although they don't look like pineapple blocks due to color placement, here is a picture of two that I am currently working on. In case you haven't already guessed, on the left block the lighter red and blue fabrics are the wrong sides of the dark red and blue fabrics. They give the block a more rustic look but shows the individual pieces better than the block on the right. But I'm not sure which I like better. Which do you like better? I like the left one--but both are great !
The one on the left
I prefer one on the left- good work on both.
They are both beautiful, but I would vote for the one on the left.
The one on the left just seem to appeal to me more. Like both.
I like the right one but both would work well together!
Interesting! Both look good.
Both are great!... But I like the one on the left. It looks more informal, so I guess if it depends if you want to go informal or formal. And the grey square in the center is much better with the colors in the one on the left. IMHO.
The one on the left and has more contrast........which is my preference.
I also like the contrast of the left one. The right one is nice also but you can’t really see the different pieces.
I love the one on the right. It looks more rich in color. I think the light shows differently on the left one.
Really like the one on the left... like they say.. you buy both sides of the fabric! But I like them both.. haha
The one on the left is more whimsical, light, happy. The one on the right is strict, bold and unwavering, almost demanding. The one you pick depends on your mood.
I like the one on the right. I do like the appearance on the color variation on the left; however, I would use other fabrics, right sides up, to achieve the color desired. I know you pay for the wrong side as well as the front side, but, the wrong side frequently shows inconsistently in color.
What an interesting pineapple block. Thanks for posting, it seems I am always making red/blue quilts. I have never thought of a pineapple block in this way. Good job. I like the left. It may just be the photo but the left one has more interest and variety
Left side....did you use the backside of the fabric on the right for the left?
Both are beautiful blocks. Just depends on the look you want.
Could you use both - alternating them?
they are both great like them both
I'm with everyone else; both are great but like the one on the left.
I like them both, it depends who is the recipient. Right is more masculine to me. I would probably use both in the same quilt. I think that would look good.
I like the right one.
I like variation of the left.
I vote for the left one as I like the way it looks with lighter fabric-or the fabric from the right turned over.

I like the boldness of the right one.
In the minority, but I like the one on the right best!
I like the right side ..but that's just me. Both are nice.
The one on the right.
My eye was pulled immediately to the left block.
I'm very sorry. I cannot make up my mind. They are both gorgeous! Beautiful!
I like both equally. I would alternate them in the same quilt.
Left block.
The left one! It has more contrast and more visual interest.
They are different and I love them both!
I like them both. What if you mixed them in the quilt? There I go with my "what if?". This has taken me down many a road I had not planned but was happy I did. Well most of the time anyway:-)
I like both, but especially the one on the left. Whichever you choose, you should also include the other one in your quilt. Just one block of your outcast will add interest.
I like the left one best.
Color variation on the LEFT really appeals to me
