While you are ironing it in place, put a line of tiny drops of school glue on it to hold it perfect place.
I should have read all the post before replying. :D :D :D :D |
Great idea! Will try this out this week.

I just use clips 5-6 and turn ahead of where I'm sewing, always a thrill to take them out for the last time. Means I'm done, I've gotten pretty fast at the sewing the binding on.
Sound like a good tip for those that want to use it. |
There is a popular binding method that has you iron that crease before you even apply it. I like to use it when I'm not mitering the binding. Looks really neat and even.

Never heard of that tip before...I've been quilting for a little over 10 years...Love the tip...Thanks!!

That is what I do also. Little elmers glue stick does wonders also.

This is a great tip. I've never done this before, but just thinking about it really seems to make sense. I will definitely try this next time I do binding. Thanks! :D

If you want to take it one step further, apply some Elmers School Glue as you are ironing and it will stay where you want it, and no pins to poke yourself with.

There is never a bad tip from fellow quilters...thanks!
