Starch that binding really well before you even press it in half. Starch, do not iron, and press together. Then starch again.

Thanks everyone. I'll take out what I've done and fill the binding this time. I already ironed the binding inhalf before I machine stitched it on. I regret doing it because it is difficult getting my needle the crease of the binding.
No I don't have quilt clips, I have used the office supply black clips. Pam1966- Do I starch the binding when I fold it in half for the machine stitching part. Or do I starch it over the edge of the quilt for hand sewing part? |
