very nice and beautiful

My daughter is into everything organic so I doubt they will get involved with KoolAid. Lots of other things may end up there though. LOL. That is fine! It will mean they love them and are using them. I can always make more in the future, Lord Willing.

Fortunately, it was a quickie and not one like you made!)

Thank you one and all for such kind words!

I definitely am a novice but you are definitely not chopped liver. LOL LOL LOL

Lucky grandkids! Hope they appreciate all the efforts. Love the designs.

Lovely! I love the way a simple change in colors can make identical blocks look completely different!

Great quilts!! The kids will love them!

You have every right to be proud...those quilts are wonderful.

OmaForFour 01-29-2011 10:57 AM

I know they will. That's the way they are. They have been brought up to know when something is of value for the love and effort in it.
Once before I gave my grandson something and he was so overwhelmed with the true value of it that all he could do was give me a hug and he started to cry. He was 9 at the time.
My daughter has taught them what goes into the making of things and they see what she does also with scrapbooking and breadmaking.
My other two granddaughters who live 500 miles away are completely different. Very materialistic.
