Love the colors on Owen's quilt. Beautiful work on both.

OmaForFour 01-30-2011 05:37 AM

You have all been so kind. I can't wait to start on my next big quilt. However, I have 3 small projects that are well on their way to completion that I need to finish.

To anyone who reads this who is new at quilting, IT CAN BE DONE! If I can do it, you can too!

KEEP ON QULTING EVERYBODY!

Pzazz 01-30-2011 06:53 AM

Thank you so much. I do have a dream of someday making a Baltimore Album quilt, but I have not tried to applique yet. LOL.

DebbieJJ 01-31-2011 06:47 AM

Beautiful quilts, and wonderful colors! I'd never guess you're a novice!

OmaForFour 01-31-2011 06:52 AM

Thank you so much! I love quilting! I used to be a cross stitcher until I moved permanently to Maine and got involved with some gals here. Then a wonderful LQS opened up a mile from my home. I am in heaven. The owner is the sweetest gal going and so helpful & talented.
I live on a gorgeous island right next to Acadia National Park. Small projects that I can carry with me are great for working on while sitting on the rocks by the ocean on a nice spring, summer, or fall day.

mayday 01-31-2011 08:09 AM

Your quilts are beautiful and I know they will cherish them forever. Very lucky grandchildren.

jdavis 02-06-2011 07:25 AM

Your piecing looks very good! I wouldn't know you were as new as you say!

marmalade 03-19-2011 07:58 AM

I love them both! They are similar in design - but completely different (if that makes any sense???)

The g-k's are going to love them!

OmaForFour 03-19-2011 08:09 AM

Thank you ! That was sweet of you to look them up today. The last time I saw the quilts (last week) I had twin grandchildren competing for my lap while wrapped up in their quilts! LOL.

Both are wonderful.

OmaForFour 03-19-2011 08:17 AM

Now I am working on two other projects. One is an OBW which will be my couch cover and the other (about to start today) is a pineapple quilt done in paper piecing. Never did that before. Have not decided how big it will be yet. Depends on how hard it turns out to do for me.

Vickymomof6 03-19-2011 08:41 AM

I love them both but that blue and white is stunning!

OmaForFour 03-19-2011 08:49 AM

Thank you!
