Thank you! The first one is a Drunkard's Path variation, and I actually wrote a tutorial for it. It is REALLY easy - there is no curved piecing. You can find the tutorial here:

I just went to your site and read/viewed your tute. This IS easy, and will be fun to do. Thanks again!!!

Unbelievably gorgeous quilts with the bright colors with black!!! Great patterns to use with brights/blacks, too. Thanks for sharing!

Fair enough. Here's one using a black fabric with a print on it.

I hope you can handle one more black background wall hanging. This is my falling leaves that I made a couple years ago. After it was all done, I realized I should have had more of the "medium" tones in the middle, but I love this pattern. Didn't realize how many black on blacks, white on black, and black on white fabrics there were until I started looking. Thanks for looking. Good luck!

Isn't it funny how once you're done with a quilt, you start seeing the colors you used in the quilt (and had a hard time finding) EVERYWHERE, now that you don't need them? lol!

YES! And if it wasn't for this project (shown above) I wouldn't have looked at some of those fabrics, I wouldn't have known what to do with them. But since doing that one, I've worked with black more often, and have another one almost done, just got some more SITD to do and then the binding. Hope to post in a few days.

That's very pretty. I always like autumn leaves.
