your quilt is beautiful, don't have any advise...what ever you decide will be beautiful....

The choice of leaf placement will be dependent on what batting you used - whether the quilting needs to be close (2-4") or farther apart. I do like the leafy design, it's simple and very pretty - it will also compliment the quilt without "taking over".

Rose, I'm using Dream Orient and will be doing SID along the seams between the blocks and maybe more so I should be OK. Thanks for your interest!!

Absolutely gorgeous. Have no help on the quilting because I can't FMQ at all. Someone here will be able to help you. These ladies are smart that are on this board. Great job.

That is a gorgeous quilt! :) You are very accomplished! I like your leafy design, but I'd add more leaves, just because it's such a large space. I think 4 would be a minimum. Or you could make the leaves bigger and add veins to their centers. Veins don't have to all be identical and waviness is often a plus, so they'd be fairly easy on a dsm. Good luck to you! Lucky giftee!

Beautiful quilt and you did a great job. I love how it drapes on your bed.
Good luck with all the choices listed on the quilting part. Pat |
