Bohemian could be focused towards the colours and the print of the fabric and/or the actual quilt pattern.
My suggestion would be for you to get her involved, so that you feel good about what you are making, knowing that it is something she likes. If she lives near you, perhaps she could come over and look at pictures on your computer (Mr. Google will be pleased to help! Otherwise, she could email send you some pics or links. Even better still would be to let her help you pick the fabrics. Good Luck! |
equilter has some wonderful fabrics to use for this purpose.

Kaffee Fassett has gorgeous fabric that would make a wonderful bohemian quilt.. just google his name. You could look on Pinterest for some ideas.

That's a good thought, ducky. Kaffe Fassett's books have some awesome quilts in them and most of his patterns are pretty easy to follow. |
Time to dig out the 'wild' fabrics

I agree that a Jen Kingwell pattern would fit the bill. Maybe use Marcia Derse fabric. |
I think Amy Butler has a free pattern of a bohemian pattern on her site .

Thanks all. I do love Kaffe Fassett fabrics and think most of them would work. Jan, love those fabrics; would love to pick out my own 10 inch square in each. I think i will go to the Amy Butler site and check that out. I still have enough time (hopefully).
