bom fabric requirements
 

I am going try Pat Sloan's free BOM for 2015. My question is when yardage is given for fabrics, if it calls for a yard does it have to be one piece? For the border, it states that the yardage given will yield border that is not pieced. Otherwise, it is a mystery quilt so cutting directions will be given each month. Thanks for your help.

I would look at how the fabric is cut. If you need a certain number of strips it might be necessary to have in one piece but if its something like applique you might not need it like that
