Deb, I don't want to take over this thread, so here is a link (I hope!) to the one where I posted it. I see that was in September of 2013, so was only 9 months late finishing! That included having it quilted and bound, too, though, so really, not too bad. https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...t-t229833.html

I,ve done the last 9 mystery quilts of Bonnies and have never been disappointed in any of them. Found her site when I started quilting and have followed her ever since. Currently doing up some of her sugar bowl blocks and they are addicting.

How does a person get started with her MQ? Is it on her blog/Facebook/here? Would love to follow along.

You could search for Bonnie Hunter or quiltville.com. I signed up to get her emails & get the directions that way. One of her mysteries is on my to do list.

I've looked around her site but don't find how to sign up for the emails. Help, please.

Sync, I‘m glad you finished Allietare and that it helped your confidence...yes, there are a lot of small pieces but luckily the clues are posted weekly so you don’t get overwhelmed. The end result of her mysteries is worth it. Can’t wait to see the color cards for this year’s mystery.

I am looking forward to the MQ as well. I have done the last two (or is it three?) but none are quilted yet. I seem to collect tops more than quilts! Her quilts do challenge you but the instructions are well written. I print out each week's post so they are saved if I ever want to make another one.

Click on the link ctrysass2012 provided, then choose 'BLOG' at the top of the page. You'll then be on the blog page, and will see the picture of Bonnie's En Provence quilt, and below that are a bunch of gray tabs. Just below the gray tabs is the little box for submitting your email address to receive the blog posts as emails.

They are a challange but I also love small pieces and I love how she uses so many differnt fabrics! I was thoroughly impressed with her detailed instructions. I regret not printing each clue as it came out last year. I still have them as a pdf on my iPod, but my printer doesn't "recognize" the iPod. This year I'm going to print them for future.

I'm going to do Bonnie's MQ again this is. Allietaire was my first one. It's not finished yet, but plan on finishing it up soon. I passed on En Provence but I did print the clues and instructions. That quilt is beautiful!! I sure hope to make that someday.

I believe she mentioned a couple of weeks ago that she loaded it on the longarm to be quilted.
