I'm going to play quilt police here. Every single quilter I've read or talked to says, do not repeat widths of borders. I'm thinking 3, 3, & 3 is too predictable in this quilt. I don't want to come off as a smarty here. And I've never measured borders on show quilts, so I don't really know. But most designers put different sizes together, or so they say. So maybe add the 4' you need right away.
I did a quick drawing & added a 4" band - the next band is treated as one border, but you could do 2 4 1/2" bands, with a 3" band in the center. That measures 12". I can't remember what the length of your quilt was, but you could figure it out, just remember to add the 1/2" for each seam. Maybe cornerstones from a different fabric??? What fun you are going to have!

Add another pink border that is 3 inches wide.

I completely concur with this idea. The most important of it would be adding another pink border to stop the rectangular squares. As it currently sits, they seem to go off to la la land. This is exactly what I would do as well.

In looking at the cornerstone block, you could use the darker color on the inside and outside borders with the lighter color border between them. That way it would sort of repeat the design of the cornerstone.

I like the extra brick row! I'd also consider adding a final layer around the quilt after the corners are on to frame them. Not too wide, and maybe out of the darker pink?

I think the block you have in the corner is a nice block - but not there - because the other blocks are on point and it seems heavy/clunky there to me.

I'm attaching another suggestion for borders - if you put small blocks that are on point - it would pick up/echo the blocks that are on point in the center.
