Border Help
2 Attachment(s)
I made a quilt top with one border in mind and then over thought it and now I can't decide which border to go with. Do I go with the printed one or the paisley? Your input has always been so helpful and I find I am in need of your thoughts. Thanks so much!

When I saw the first one I thought nothing could beat it--but the paisley is the one to go with. The colors are perfect and make the top pop. froggyintexas

Paisley looks great.
Paisley has my vote. That looks great.
Paisley for me.
I'm also for the paisley...goes perfectly with the rest of your quilt. And the choice of going with a thin red inner border followed by a slightly wider black border before adding the wide paisley really rounds it off nicely!
Love the paisley look with your top. Very pretty!

I like the paisley with the narrow black/red...it blends well with the center and really finishes it off nicely. The other border is pretty, but I think it would distract too much from the center.
Another for the paisley with the two inner borders. It looks smashing!
i vote for the paisley

Paisley gets my vote.
Love the paisley border with the two thinner inner borders. It is perfect for this quilt. The other one has too many different colours and is too busy for your beautiful black red and white quilt.
Paisley is fab!
I vote paisley!
Your quilt is very pretty, and I vote for the paisley border. It will really make the quilt pop.

And another one for the paisley. I didn't like the orange in the other border.
Def the Paisley. The introduction of the orange/yellow in the other one clashes with the basic black/white/red of the quilt.
Paisley - no questions.....it is terrific!
Paisley looks the best. Very pr

The fabric will the yellow overwhelms the quilt in my opinion. I'd use the paisley.

Go with the paisley. Where did you buy your paisley? I just made a quilt using the same fabric. I bought mine in Joann's in Ogdensburg, NY. Went to the local Joann's & they don't have it. I need about another yard. The one where I bought it is 1,000 miles away.

Paisley does it perfectly
And another vote for the paisley!
Another for the paisley with the red & black borders, just as you pictured it. This would be a great guy quilt and they are so hard for me to create. You nailed it!!!!!
I like the paisley one the best--the narrow red and black border lines help define the whole quilt. Lovely!!
Paisley, please.
The paisley has my vote-frames your quilt perfectly.
I think the paisley is more along your color scheme.
Paisley all over the other one in this case!! Lovely top!
Both work... the paisley if you want the quilt more subdued and the print if you want more color.
I like the paisley much better.
Oh, hands down Number one gets my vote! I like the pop of the colors with the colors of your quilt.
Yep, I agree: the paisley! It goes great with your quilt and repeats the red. Will be beautiful!
I vote for the paisley.
I'm for the Paisley one also - looks wonderful!
Hands down it's paisley! Great quilt!
My vote is for the paisley.
